Upon arrival at Helsinki Airport, our friendly Trekking Trails Travels team will greet you with a warm smile and a personalized signboard for easy identification. Your private guide will assist with your luggage and transfer you comfortably to your 4-star hotel – either Scandic Park Helsinki, Radisson Blu, or a similar premium property in the city.

• 🕓 Arrival before 4 PM? Great! We may be able to offer a brief orientation tour (subject to time and interest).
• 🕕 Arrival after 4 PM? No problem! We’ll take you straight to Helsinki City Center, where you can soak in the capital’s vibrant nightlife, stroll through illuminated streets, and explore cozy cafés, local shops, and perhaps even stop for a cocktail at the famous Sky Room or a rooftop bar.

Enjoy a hearty breakfast at your hotel before heading out on a guided tour to the charming town of Porvoo – one of Finland’s oldest settlements.

• 🏘️ Explore the Old Town with its red shore houses, cobbled lanes, and traditional wooden architecture.
• 🧝‍♂️ Learn about Sámi culture, folklore, and Finnish heritage.

• After lunch, we’ll begin our Scenic Arctic Road Trip to Lapland. Your evening destination is Oulu, a lively town near the Bay of Bothnia.

  • 🏨 Check-in at Scandic Oulu or a similar 4-star hotel.
  • 🏙️ Evening at leisure – feel free to walk around, try Finnish cuisine at a local restaurant, or explore Oulu’s riverside.

After breakfast, we’ll drive north to the magical town of Rovaniemi, the official hometown of Santa Claus.

• 🎅 Visit Santa Claus Village: Meet Santa in person, take photos, and send postcards from the Santa Claus Post Office.
• 🌍 Cross the Arctic Circle Line and receive a personalized certificate – a proud moment!
• 🦌 Visit a Reindeer Farm – cuddle with the gentle creatures, go for a short reindeer sleigh ride, and hear tales of Arctic life from the locals.

• Evening drive continues to Sodankylä, a hidden gem above the Arctic Circle, where the Northern Lights often put on a spectacular show.

  • 🌌 Tonight: Aurora Hunting Tour with a professional guide – chase the Northern Lights in one of the best viewing spots in Lapland.

Start your morning with breakfast and continue your Arctic journey towards the picturesque region of Inari, Ivalo, and Saariselkä – three towns nestled closely together in Finnish Lapland.

• 🌊 Stop at Jäniskoski Rapids and enjoy the untouched Arctic nature.

• Later, drive towards Ruka–Kuusamo, a world-class adventure destination.

  • 🌌 En route, keep your eyes open for another chance to witness the Northern Lights – some of the clearest skies in Finland await you.

• 🐕 After breakfast, head to a Husky Farm. Meet the energetic huskies, learn about sledding culture, and enjoy an exhilarating Husky Sleigh Ride through the snowy wilderness.
• 🎿 Afternoon visit to Ruka Ski Resort – admire the view from Ruka Peak, try skiing (optional), or enjoy a hot drink at the summit café.
• Evening: Head out for another exciting Northern Lights Tour

• After breakfast, we’ll take you to Oulanka National Park, one of Finland’s most spectacular nature reserves.
• ❄️ Walk along frozen rivers, snowy trails, and hanging bridges – an unforgettable winter wonderland experience.
• Later in the afternoon, gear up for a Snowmobiling Safari – zip through Arctic forests and across frozen lakes, feeling the thrill of adventure.
• 🏨 Tonight’s highlight: Check in to your Glass Igloo in Ruka!
  • Lay back under a transparent roof and watch the Northern Lights from the warmth of your bed – a bucket-list moment.

Begin your journey back to Southern Finland. After breakfast, we’ll drive south (approx. 6 hours) and arrive at Nature365 Resort, located on the shores of Lake Saimaa, near Mikkeli and just 2 hours from Helsinki.
